Once upon a time in a small town, there was a kind instructor [1] named Ann. Ann was a teacher at the local school, and she liked to help people learn in the best ways possible. She always wore a long skirt [2] to work, even [3] though most people wore pants. She liked skirts [2], and that was okay.
Ann’s life was not the same as other people’s lives because she had an unusual [4] job. Instead of teaching kids, she taught grown-ups how to read better and write better. These grown-ups had missed learning these things when they were young. Ann’s lifestyle [5] was simple but nice because she loved helping others.
Every day, Ann worked very hard to make her classes good for everyone. She wanted to accommodate [6] all the different people who came to learn. Some of them were fast learners, while others needed a little more time. Ann’s classes were at night, so even [3] people with day jobs could come.
One day, the boss of the school said there might be a dismissal [7]. That means someone might have to stop working there. Ann was surprised; she thought her classes were doing well. Then she remembered efficiency [8] was very important to the boss. That means doing things very well and not wasting time.
Ann took a look at her teaching methods and decided to change some things so the classes could be even [3] better. She made a formation [9], which is a good plan, for her classes to help her students learn quickly and well.
A few weeks later, the boss watched Ann’s classes. He saw how much better everything was working. Because of her good work, the boss gave her a recommendation [10]. That is a note that says someone does a very good job.
One student in her class was an attorney [11]. That is a lawyer who helps people with law problems. After learning a lot from Ann, he said, “Ann, I want to say thank you. I can read and write much better now. And soon, I will help people even [3] more with my job.”
In the end, Ann didn’t lose her job. She was very happy about that. She kept teaching for many years and helped a lot of people change their lives for the better. She showed that even [3] when things look bad, if you work hard and make good plans, things can turn out just fine. And that was due [12] to her decision to not give up and keep improving. Ann’s life was simple, but her story reminds everyone that being kind, working hard, and helping others is a good way to live.
