Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a little boy named Tim. Every month, something strange and scary happened in this town. It was like a cycle [1] that never ended. It was almost time for the monthly [2] event, so people were scared.
There was a deep, dark pond [3] in the middle of the forest. People said it was a pond [3] with a secret. It was said that a creature lived in the pond [3]. The creature had never been seen, but it made scary noises at night.
Tim was a brave boy, and he did not believe in the creature. He thought it was just a story. But his friends were not sure. They dared Tim to go to the pond [3] at night. They had a competition [4] to see who was the bravest. Tim wanted to win, so he said yes.
That night, Tim took a flashlight and went to the forest. He walked through the trees until he reached the pond [3]. It was silent. No scary sounds came from the water. Tim smiled. He felt sure there was no creature. But then he heard something.
It was a splash from the water. Tim turned his flashlight toward the pond [3]. He saw something move, and then he heard the scary sound. It was real. Tim wanted to run, but he was too scared to move.
Suddenly, the moon came out from behind the clouds, and Tim saw the creature. It was made of dark, wet tissue [5]. It was big, and it had no eyes. Tim could not deny [6] it. The creature was real, and it was coming out of the pond [3].
Tim ran as fast as he could. He heard the creature behind him. Then he saw a light. It was his house. He ran inside and locked the door.
The next day, Tim told everyone about the creature. No one went near the pond [3] after that. The town lived in fear, and the cycle [1] of scary events continued every month.
The people tried many things to stop the creature. They tried to stop it with food from their diet [7], hoping it would leave. They tried a spell to cure [8] the town from the curse. But nothing worked. There was no cure [8] for the creature and no alternative [9] to living in fear.
One man thought of a plan. He built a suspension [10] bridge over the pond [3]. The bridge was strong and high. People could cross it and not be near the water.
For a while, the plan worked. But then, one night, the creature climbed the bridge. It was angry. There had been a considerable [11] amount of time since anyone had dared to go near its pond [3]. The town was in danger again.
The people realized they had to face the creature. They had to end the monthly [2] cycle [1].
Tim remembered something he had read in a story. In the latter [12] part of the book, the hero defeated a monster with light.
The town came together and made a new plan. They decided to fill the area around the pond [3] with light. They put up lights everywhere. When the creature came out on the next full moon, it was surrounded by brightness.
The creature cried out. It did not like the light. It ran back to the pond [3] and was never seen again.
Tim and the people of the town had freed themselves from the creature. They learned that together, they were strong, and they could fight their fears.
From then on, the town was peaceful. The suspension [10] bridge stood unused, and the monthly [2] cycle [1] of fear was broken. The pond [3] became just a pond [3], and the story of the creature became an old tale. But everyone remembered the brave little boy named Tim who helped save the town.
